Tim Harper is the CEO and founder of Element 2, a leading venture in hydrogen refueling infrastructure, pioneering the UK’s transition to sustainable energy by deploying hydrogen refueling stations (HRS) and supplying hydrogen fuel to consumers. With over 25 years in science and technology industries, Tim has built and led multiple successful enterprises, transforming innovative technologies into high-growth companies across sectors including intelligent sensing, nanotechnology, automotive, and water treatment.
Tim’s career highlights include managing a $1.5 billion acquisition program in intelligent sensing for a Chinese consortium, developing graphene-based filtration solutions, and leading commercialization of space technology, including a sensor used on the European Space Agency’s mission to comet 67P. His contributions to technology policy and strategy are extensive, with advisory roles at the World Economic Forum and MIT.
