Tom Highland is the second generation of the Highland Group family business, taking over from his father Stephen Highland. Tom formally joined the business in 2012 at the age of 21. After learning under his father for 6 years he got the opportunity to take on his own site Greenfields Service Station. 6 years on Tom now runs the family business with a head office at there flagship site Childerley Gate. In 2024 he was awarded with the Special Recognition Award at the Forecourt Trader awards. Highland Group currently operates 5 sites, 4 Bp and 1 Esso. Each is supplied by Nisa but under the Highland Group branding. Each site offers a fresh bakery serve over and in some locations a butchery and farm shop. The Highland Groups mission is to offer customers a premium retail experience with a focus on locally sourced products. The family owned business believes working with local business by giving them a platform to showcase their individual skills in one central hub is what will give them the reason to stand out.
