Steve has over 35 year’s experience in food retailing, having started his career with Safeway as a Store Manager before moving to Operations Manager and then progressing to Operations Director, where he was responsible for over 100 stores covering the south of England. Steve joined Booker in August 2002 as Head of Premier, then in 2008, Steve was promoted to Group Sales Director – Retail, making him responsible for the development of all retail sales across the business. Following Booker joining forces with Booker Retail Partners in 2015, Steve was then given the additional responsibility for both Londis and Budgens fascia groups. He then moved to his role of Managing Director, Booker Group – Retail, where he looked after the development of the complete Booker Group retail business through Booker Wholesale, Booker Retail Partners and all independent, regional and national accounts. On 1st September 2019, Steve Fox joined Motor Fuel Group as Managing Director – Retail, managing the Operations , Commercial, Food Service & Development departments with the aim to strengthen the retail offering , in 2024 MFG embarked on the acquisition of 337 Morrisons Forecourts, Whilst continuing to development existing Budgens & Londis estate by adding 50 branded Foodservice department each year to include Greggs, Burger King , Pret with New partners to follow later this year.
