Tony Jackson joined Penny Petroleum as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in September 2024, overseeing the strategic direction of this exciting and fast-growing Petrol Forecourt Retailer. Prior to joining the fuel forecourt sector, Tony enjoyed a varied and successful career in both banking and education. His banking career saw him undertake stints in Sydney, Australia working for Macquarie Bank, and then in London working for Barclays. Between these roles, he also fit in a season, playing full time rugby in Spain. At this point, the first significant career switch was made, with Tony retraining to embark upon a life in education. Tony taught History and coached sport, quickly becoming a Housemaster, before being chosen as the youngest Headmaster in England, on his appointment, when he joined an independent day and boarding school in Northern England. It was whilst working there that he met David Penny, and the rest, as they say, is history. It was at this point, that the second significant career switch took place, with Tony joining David and the impressive team at Penny Petroleum. Tony is married to Dawn and has three young children.
