Gordon Balmer is the Executive Director of the Petrol Retailers Association and the Car Wash Association (PRA/CWA) . He has extensive experience in the Fuel industry, 30 years with BP in senior leadership positions, 4 years with his own consulting business and 10 years with the PRA/CWA. He has led the PRA/CWA during a period of volatility, including the fuel shortages of 2021, the Ukraine war, the challenges of net zero and increased intervention from the government. He has extensive experience in representing members at the highest levels of government and in the media and is a regular speaker at the PRA’s popular “Roadshows” and “Business Breakouts”. Away from work Gordon enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and watching sport.
